The Council has the authority to hold joint meetings and public hearings with the governing bodies of other governmental units, and such joint meetings may be held in the jurisdiction of either body. They may be regular or special meetings. The Council may, from time to time, hold joint meetings with the EDC 4B or with any other advisory board or committee of the town if needed.

The Town Council serves as a link between the residents of Trophy Club and their municipal government. The Town of Trophy Club operates under a council-manager form of government as approved by voters through the adoption of the Town of Trophy Club Charter. Scheduled trash collection is on Tuesdays and Fridays. Residents are allowed two options for trash collection: - Trash collected in bags that are carried directly to the curb or - Trash collected in bags and placed inside a container no larger than 50 gallons. Please note: trash placed inside a container must be bagged (no loose garbage in a bin), trash bag weight cannot exceed 50 pounds each, and the container cannot be larger than 50 gallons, or Republic will not pick up the refuse.
