People Not Eligible to take a Driver Safety Course

  • Defendant that has completed a Driver safety Course within the last twelve months preceding the date of the offense
  • Defendant that held a commercial driver's license (CDL) at the time of the offense, regardless of whether the vehicle was a commercial or private vehicle
  • Defendant that was cited for one of the following:
    • Speeding in excess of 25 miles per hour or more over the speed limit
    • Issued in a construction zone with workers present
    • Passing a school bus loading or unloading children
    • Leaving the scene of an accident
    • Accident involving damage to vehicle
    • Duty to give information and render aid
