Summer is here, which means it’s time to get out and explore the great things happening at your local parks and recreation centers. This July, join in on the fun and games and play equipment offered by the Trophy Club Parks and Recreation Department as we celebrate Park and Recreation Month.
The Town of Trophy Club is celebrating Park and Recreation Month, an initiative of the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA), by inviting you to get in the game. With everything from pickleball courts, tennis courts, baseball fields, basketball courts, soccer fields, practice fields, a splash pad, a competition pool, ‘kiddie’ pool, disc golf course, accessible playgrounds, sandbox’s and bocce ball courts, there are plenty of ways that you can celebrate this month!
"Whether our residents enjoy the wonderful sounds of nature, participating in various sports, riding motocross bikes and ATV’s, fishing, launching boats…..the list goes on. Trophy Club has an activity for everyone", stated the Director of Parks and Recreation Tony Jaramillo. "The Parks and Recreation team is proud of the fact that residents have various recreational venues to enjoy with friends and families in their spare time. Trophy Club residents have access to over 1000 acres of parkland with the highest park space acreage per capita ratio in the state of Texas. We strongly encourage everyone to participate in the numerous activities offered as this is a remarkable way of bringing the community together."
NRPA encourages people that support parks and recreation to share why they think it’s important with the hashtag #GameOnJuly.
