[ARCHIVED] MeatUAnywhere Driveway To Be Repaired

TX - MUA

At the May 28, 2019, Trophy Club Town Council meeting, the Council approved the removal and replacement of the mutual access driveway on the southeast corner of Meat U Anywhere BBQ (“MUA”). A formal agreement between the Town of Trophy Club and MUA for improvements to the driveway was reached.

The Town will pay for the removal and replace the existing mutual access driveway from the property line at the south of MUA to the approach on the east for the benefit of the shopping development and Town. MUA agrees to keep the mutual access driveway open to thru traffic. MUA also agrees to maintain the driveway in drivable condition for 20 years following the date of completion.

This agreement is a solution to the past month and a half of restricted access to that driveway which bridges mobility and access between MUA and the shopping center which features shops and restaurants such as Cristina’s Fine Mexican, Fisk & Knife Japanese Cuisine and 7-Eleven.

“I am encouraged to see Andy Sedina of Meat U Anywhere and Town Council working so closely together on this issue. When our local government and businesses work together as partners we can make a positive impact on our residents’ quality of life,” stated Acting Town Manager Wade Carroll.

Councilman Jensen made a motion during the June 11, 2019, Town Council meeting to approve a mutual access driveway improvement agreement with the Town and MUA. “This agreement will provide better access between not only MUA but all of the businesses at the Village at Trophy Club said Councilman Jensen, “Council continues to focus on protecting and promoting the interests of our residents, businesses and property owners”.

About MeatUAnywhere:

In late 2012, after more than 10 years of building up a regional BBQ franchise, Andy Sedino was told that the company “was going the corporate route and those plans didn’t include him.”

Lifted by his faith in the Lord, with the support of family, friends and soon-to-be business associates, and refusing to become a statistic in tough economic times, Sedino launched MEAT “U” ANYWHERE BBQ & Catering. The aim was to avoid being “boxed in” by a corporate mentality, but to serve great food and to continually exceed customers’ expectations. The team at MUA took that philosophy to the street for all types of catering venues, forging great relationships and winning loyal customers.

Now, the next chapter of their young history was written with their first store opening in Grapevine, Texas.  Next was the second location in Trophy Club, Texas where you can get their wide selection of smoked meats, exclusive sides, and ultimate breakfast tacos. Created out of a necessity to care for his family, MEAT “U” ANYWHERE BBQ & Catering has blossomed because of the commitment to great food, great customer service, and countless loyal followers.

About Trophy Club Economic Development:

Trophy Club is focused on strengthening the relationships with existing business owners, as well as assisting new businesses with relocation to Trophy Club. In a 2011 Citizen Survey with Trophy Club respondents identified several businesses that residents would like in Trophy Club. Restaurants are highly valued as desirable additions to the town and 30% of residents surveyed identified a steakhouse as the number one business they would enjoy dining at in Trophy Club.
