[ARCHIVED] Town Adds New Fire Engine to Fleet

Untitled design (1)

Trophy Club, TX (February 15, 2023) – The Town of Trophy Club leaders continue to do all they can to protect and serve its citizens effectively.

On Saturday, February 25th at 1 PM, the Town of Trophy Club Fire Department will host a Push-In ceremony to pass the torch to one of its brand-new fire engines. The 2022 Spartan pumper will replace the 2007 Pierce pumper, which has been responding to emergencies for more than 15 years.

In a Push In ceremony, the community is invited to help the firefighters wash and manually “PUSH” the new apparatus into the firehouse.

“Our firefighters worked very hard to design an apparatus that meets the needs and expectations of our citizens. It’s a well-built pumper that will serve the community for many years.”

“This beautiful machine is mission ready. It has a 1750 gpm pump, a 500-gallon water tank, an onboard foam system, and a plethora of rescue tools. We are very grateful for the support given to us by the Municipal Utility District, the Town of Trophy Club, and the citizens of this community.”

Please join the TCFD at 295 Trophy Club Drive on Saturday, February 25, 2023, at 1 PM to help us celebrate our newest edition, Engine 681!

Special thanks to Chief Jay Taylor, Chief Gary Cochran, Captain Donnie Hurd, Engineer Greg Boos, and Engineer Dusten Hards.
