Trophy Club, TX (October 20, 2022) – Denise Deprato is a dedicated leader and an experienced public sector Human Resources professional. She is a passionate public servant that values unique perspectives, thrives in creating partnerships, and keen on serving organizations and employees.
The interview process included an interview panel with Town Manager Wade Carroll, Police Chief Patrick Arata, and Finance Interim Director April Duvall, a lunch interview with the executive leadership team (all directors), and a personality profile matching the candidate to both the position and our team.

Deprato is a veteran of the United States Air Force where she worked as a Security Forces Member serving in Operation Enduring Freedom. Following her military service, she worked for the Boeing Company on their Evolved Expendable Launch Vehicle program at Vandenberg AFB as an Industrial Security Specialist.
Deprato then transitioned to local government and worked for eight years for the City of Sacramento, California in the Human Resources Department as an Administrative Analyst and then promoted to Support Services Manager. She continued her public service as a Human Resources Manager with the Livermore Area Recreation and Parks District in Livermore, California and the City of Brentwood, California.
Throughout her 14 years in Human Resources, Deprato has successfully developed numerous employee training programs including customer service and leave administration training and is a dynamic instructor. She has implemented innovative programs and systems using the most current technology to promote continued growth and develop. Deprato has developed Human Resources polices, conducted policy analyses and practical implementation. She excels in building partnerships with all stakeholders by earning trust and consensus.
Deprato is now the Director of Human Resources for the Town of Trophy Club and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources Department. She is managing the Town’s talent recruitment, benefits administration, risk management, classification and compensation, employee recognition, and organizational development programs.
“I am excited to be the Town of Trophy Club’s new Director of Human Resources and look forward to serving the Town and its employees,” said Deprato.
Deprato obtained her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Science in Public Administration from Bellevue University.
