Trophy Club, TX (March 01, 2022) – The Trophy Club Parks and Recreation Volunteer Association (TCPRVA) is a newly formed organization that will assist the Trophy Club Parks & Recreation Department (PARD) in the planning and execution of Town events.
Recently, the association launched, operating as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization working to support recreational, educational, environmental, and cultural events and opportunities for all who live and work in Trophy Club. The TCPRVA’s mission is to provide support and assistance to the Trophy Club Parks & Recreation Department through various volunteer opportunities. And just like that, a new PARKnership was born.
One of the PARD’s goals has been to creatively raise the level of community engagement and programs for residents. The Parks & Recreation team understood that potential challenges are included with achieving this goal. Department Director Tony Jaramillo created the idea of a volunteer group, dedicated to assisting the Trophy Club PARD as a solution to the challenges the department faces. The idea behind the volunteer group would be that it is beneficial to all parties, most importantly the residents.
“We look forward to having TCPRVA help us with our events and other potential projects,” Parks & Recreation Director Tony Jaramillo said. “Trophy Club is a vibrant, unique, and passionate community. It’s known for the beautiful parks, the fantastic special events, and the amazing community members. Community members like this group who want to not just show up but want to help the Town build programming WITH us.”
The Trophy Club PARD is dedicated to creating diverse programs and experiences in the Town’s sustainable natural spaces and public places and values the interest this group of volunteers has put forward in helping the PARD achieve their goals.
“By leveraging resources and talent, Trophy Club can enhance its offerings while growing its unique sense of community and stewardship” said Town Manager Wade Carroll. “The PARKnership with TCPRVA is how a truly strong community is created.”
“Now that TCPRVA has been established the Parks & Recreation team looks forward to establishing an awesome “PARK” NERSHIP with them” stated Director Jaramillo.
