Our Greatest Assets are our Dedicated Volunteers

Animal Shelter Volunteers Needed

Trophy Club, TX (August 02, 2021) – The Trophy Club Animal Shelter relies greatly on the generosity of people willing to donate their time and skills. Their kindness and support enables us to continue our efforts in providing care for the animals of Trophy Club that are brought in daily.  The work the Animal Control Officer, Brian Hall does would simply not be possible without the support of our volunteers.

When you donate your time by volunteering at the TC Animal Shelter, you are helping to provide the extra love and support our animals need to prepare in finding their way back to their forever homes or finding a new one. At the end of the day, you’ll know that your time had an impact on these animals, and we’re sure they’ll have an impact on you, too!

As a volunteer-supported shelter, the Trophy Club shelter would not exist without the hard work and dedication of our volunteers. The time requirement is based on shelter intakes. We need volunteers who can help with their care, especially after hours and on the weekends. And we are ALWAYS looking for new volunteers!  The Animal Shelter Board has been responsible for all shifts; and we find we need more volunteers and would love to have you on-board!  Four Paws One Heart Inc, a local rescue, networks our lost and found pets and works with our ACO to find homes when no owner comes forward.

There are so many things need to be done, obviously, caring for the animals is very important. Currently, we are in need of volunteers who are ready to assist in the following:

  • morning shift (first walk is at 7AM),
  • evening shift (last walk is at 10 PM),
  • in-between shifts (walk throughout day),
  • refresh water,
  • clean kennels, as needed,
  • provide company to the animals,
  • and more.

These shifts are needed specifically when an animal is in shelter. At that time, shifts will be taken amongst the volunteers, as they are available, in order to care for the animal. Shifts vary based on weekday/weekend and the availability of the ACO.

The Trophy Club Animal Shelter would not be able to serve the many animals it does each year without the help of our dedicated volunteers, and we thank you! We depend greatly on the support of our volunteers to ensure the health and happiness of our shelter pets. If you love animals, please considering volunteering with us today!

To become a TC Animal Shelter Volunteer, please fill out the application here. If you have any questions, please contact the Trophy Club Police Department’s Animal Control Officer Brian Hall at 682.237.2960 or
