Trophy Club, TX (June 22, 2021) - In early 2021, residents were asked to provide their feedback on their quality of life in Trophy Club by participating in the 2021 Citizen Survey.

The survey, conducted by EMC Research was created as a tool to measure resident satisfaction with Town services such as safety and security, infrastructure / development, nature / beautification, administrative / financial services.

The results and analysis provide the Town with information on community issues and will assist in serving as a guideline on how the Town will implement strategies to address residents’ concerns.

More than 1,014 residents participated in the survey, which was open from April 06, to May 05, 2021.

“We appreciate everyone who took the time to complete the survey and let us know how we are doing,” Carroll said, “The feedback will help Town Council plan and make strategic decisions for the future of Trophy Club.”

The good news, many residents are very satisfied with Town services and the Town’s quality of life. 95% of residents say that things are going in the right direction in Trophy Club and 84% say the sense of community is strong. Many residents are also satisfied with the Town’s emergency services, with 89% of respondents satisfied with the Fire Department/EMS Services and 90% satisfied with Police Services. What isn’t satisfactory for many however, is traffic safety and street maintenance.

The Trophy Club Citizen Survey will be presented to Council at the June 22, 2021 Council meeting. EMC Research will elaborate on the data they compiled from over 1,000 surveys that were submitted. “The survey will give us a way to hear directly from our residents about their quality of life and to understand their experience with our services,” Interim Town Manager Wade Carroll said. “It also provides us a way to identify and prioritize unmet needs and projects.”

The survey is also used for future planning and development projects, and budgeting.
