[ARCHIVED] Town Council Appoints Wade Carroll as Official Town Manager

TROPHY CLUB, TEXAS (June 22, 2021) – The Trophy Club Town Council announced it has named Wade Carroll to be its new Town Manager, effective July 1, 2021. The Council’s vote was unanimous during its regularly scheduled meeting on June 22.

Mr. Carroll has been with the Town of Trophy Club since 2017. He was Interim Town Manager for the past month after having served as Assistant Town Manager since November 2019. Before that, he was the Interim Town Manager for five months in 2019 after having served two years as Fire Chief.

WC TM“Wade Carroll is an accomplished leader and has a proven track record here in Trophy Club. He has led our community successfully before, and that’s why the Town Council is confident he’s the right person to do so now,” said Mayor Alicia Fleury. “Wade knows our town well and has a straightforward, hands-on management style. His impeccable work ethic fits well with our Council, community and staff, and we’re elated to have him as our Town Manager.”

Prior to joining the town’s staff in Trophy Club, Mr. Carroll was Deputy Chief of the Southlake Fire Department. He was with that department for 18 years. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from American Military University, as well as several professional firefighting and leadership certifications.

“I’m excited to take on this new role in Trophy Club, and I appreciate the Town Council’s confidence in me. When I was promoted to Assistant Town Manager, I said I wanted to make a difference in Trophy Club and push us towards a new level of excellence. I think we have worked diligently to move in that direction, and it’s precisely the path I want us to continue following now as we face the challenges and opportunities ahead,” Mr. Carroll said.
