Empowering Seniors Event

SAFE!

           INFORMATIVE!

                                   EXCITING!

                                                       FUN!

Please allow us to share some wonderful news: There WILL be an Empowering Seniors 2020 – the 12th annual event – on Friday, October 2. Here’s the unusual twist: It will happen right where you are, in your own home. Empowering Seniors 2020 will be a VIRTUAL event!

Recognizing that we need Empowering Seniors more than ever. It will be a time of socialization, as well as a source of information and fun. Thanks to friends at Care N’ Care Insurance for once again being the Presenting Sponsor.

Concerned for your safety in attending a large gathering, The Tarrant County Commissioners Office have taken this proactive step to help you feel comfortable in participating.

One of America’s elite virtual event producers – Internet Imagineering – is going to direct and produce the virtual Empowering Seniors event. This team has worked with Disney, ESPN, the Academy of Country Music, and recently interviewed NBA legend Magic Johnson from his own home as a keynote event speaker. This past Friday, he also produced a virtual concert for one of country music’s biggest superstars.

Here’s what that means:

  • You will be able to participate safely from your own home or even with friends
  • The entire event will take place online
  • It will feature so much of what you’ve said you like:
    • Informational workshops
    • “Ask the Doctor” healthcare panels
    • Health information and workshops from medical experts
  • And yes, they WILL still have raffle and door prizes for those who register for Empowering Seniors 2020 in advance, plus a printed program/resource guide and a goody bag.

You won’t miss a moment of this incredible event – All video will be archived for a full year, so you can return to watch any content that you missed, and you can share your favorite videos with family and friends

A survey of over 1,000 attendees from Empowering Seniors was conducted and they were very pleased to receive over 350 responses. They are putting into place so many of the aspects you have traditionally enjoyed, only without the potential risk of meeting outside your home.

Please look forward to more details about how you can participate – absolutely free, as always. You can watch Empowering Seniors on your:

  • Desktop computer
  • Laptop computer
  • iPad or tablet
  • Smartphone

Best of all, they will continue to refresh the content on the website for the following 12 months, with updates about health, personal safety, retirement planning, gardening, cooking, and other categories that are of interest to you.

Please look forward to receiving more information about Empowering Seniors 2020 – A Virtual Event, which will take place on Friday, October 2, starting at 10 a.m.

They will have multiple programs going on simultaneously and they are all being recorded. So, if you are watching an interview on gardening or cooking, you can still return and click on the latest Medicare updates or tips on how to make your home safer.

Empowering Seniors 2020 will be safe… it will be fun… and it will be an amazing virtual experience!
