Trophy Club, TX (January 28, 2020) – With Primary, Local and Presidential elections looming, there is a lot to remember!  We wanted to break down the basics of the upcoming elections and make sure our Trophy Club voters are ready!  

If you haven’t registered or need to know where you party votes, this is the basic info you will need.  If you need more specific information, please visit the Trophy Club Elections & Voting page or go directly to either the Denton County or Tarrant County websites!  In the meantime, here is some info for you:

	State Primary Election When:           Last Day To Register to Vote: February 03, 2020 Early Voting: February 18 – 28, 2020                       Primary Election Day: March 03, 2020 What:  These primaries are used by political parties to determine which candidates for legislative seats will go on the general election ballot on Nov. 3, 2020. These include legislative seats in 46 states along with U.S. senators and representatives, governors and statewide officials. Where: If you live in Denton County, check-in with the VoteDenton website for your closest voting location information.  If you live in Tarrant County, check-in with the Tarrant County Elections site for your closest voting location information.  Make sure you find out where EARLY voting and ELECTION DAY voting are based on your preferred political party.  MORE INFO>>
	Local General Election When:           Last Day to Register to Vote: April 02, 2020 Early Voting: April 20 -28, 2020                       Local Election Day: May 02, 2020 What:  A General Election will be conducted on May 2, 2020, for the purpose of electing one (1) Mayor, currently held by C. Nick Sanders, one (1) Council Member for Place 1, currently held by Alicia L. Fleury, and one (1) Council Member for Place 2, currently held by Eric Jensen, to the Town Council for three-year terms. Where: All voting for Denton County for the Local General Election including early voting and election day will be held in Trophy Club Town Hall, 1 Trophy Wood Drive, EOC Room.  Voting for Tarrant County has not been finalized as of yet, but it is anticipated to take place with early voting at Southlake City Hall and election day voting in Trophy Club Town Hall.   MORE INFO>>
	Presidential Election When:           Last Day to Register to Vote: October 05, 2020 Early Voting: October 19 - 30, 2020                       Presidential Election Day: November 03, 2020 What:  The 2020 United States presidential election is scheduled for Tuesday, November 3, 2020. It will be the 59th quadrennial presidential election. Voters will select presidential electors who in turn on December 14, 2020, will either elect a new president and vice president or re-elect the incumbents Where: Voting location information will be available soon.  MORE INFO>>
