Fire Administration

The Trophy Club Fire Department has grown from an all-volunteer department into a fully paid, professional department serving a population of approximately 15,000 citizens in an 4.1 square mile area.

The Trophy Club Fire Department provides fire, rescue, and emergency medical services from one fire station located at 295 Trophy Club Drive. We respond to approximately 1,000 calls for emergency service each year.

Fire Administration is located inside the fire station and houses the general executive and fire prevention personnel for the department including the Fire Chief, Deputy Chief/Fire Marshal, and Administrative Assistant.

Fire Administration oversees the operational functions of the department including budget development and control, long and short-term planning, purchasing, training and similar tasks.

Interlocal Agreement

An interlocal agreement exists between the Town of Trophy Club and the Trophy Club Municipal Utility District (MUD) Number 1. The Trophy Club Town Council and Trophy Club MUD Number 1 directors met in a joint meeting in September 2016 to consider and take appropriate action regarding an Interlocal Cooperation Agreement for Administration of Fire Protection Services between the Town of Trophy Club and Trophy Club Municipal Utility District Number 1.

Both entities worked diligently to represent the best interests of Trophy Club residents and businesses to create an agreement maximizing efficiency, transparency, and cohesiveness.

 Highlights of the agreement include:

  • A five-year agreement that automatically renews unless one or both parties opt out
  • The creation of a single operational reporting structure under the Town of Trophy Club
  • An agreement that the Trophy Club MUD Number 1 and The Town of Trophy Club will discuss and approve an annual budget each year for Fire Services
