2023 Weather Contingency Plan 

We are looking forward to having a fantastic Fourth of July Celebration this year and have put a LOT of planning, time, and effort into making it a spectacular event! HOWEVER, no amount of planning can change Mother Nature.

Fear not, Trophy Club, your TC staff is evaluating the weather and has contingency plans in place if the weather calls for it.  Announcements will be made through social media, the website, and on TC Alerts.  In the meantime, here are some details we want to let you know about:

Patriot 5K Fun Run:

• This event is a RAIN OR SHINE event UNLESS there is lightning.
• If there is lightning, there will be a 30-minute delay of the race start time.

Parade of Patriots:

• This event is NOT a RAIN or SHINE event.  
• If there is inclement weather that has the potential to pass, the parade will be delayed ONLY 30 MINUTES. If, after 30 minutes, the parade cannot proceed, the parade WILL SADLY BE CANCELED to protect our fellow citizens and children from standing in inclement weather.

Fireworks Celebration:

• This event is NOT a RAIN or SHINE event.
• If there is inclement weather that has the potential to pass, the Fireworks event will proceed as planned with a delay.
• If there are SUSTAINED winds > 20 MPH at the time of the fireworks launching, they will be unable to launch. 
• If there is inclement weather that is not likely to pass and the event is canceled, the rainout date for the fireworks will be scheduled.  This would be for Fireworks only. Sadly, the event activities and delicious food, and fun music would be canceled and scheduled for another event in the future.
