Flag Status

The Trophy Club Fire Department manages all flags on town-owned property in eight different locations.  The Town adheres to federal law and flag protocol to guide how these flags are flown at town facilities. The Town of Trophy Club also has policies outlining adherence to federal law and flag protocol, proclamations by the president, governor, or mayor, and addressing incidents related specifically to Trophy Club.

Temporary Removal of Flags

It is our goal to keep all town-owned flags flying at all times, however there are some occasions when the flags must be removed, such as inclement weather, repair or replacement.

Flying the United States Flag at Half-staff

There are five designated days each year that the United States flag is flown at half-staff in accordance with federal laws:

  • Peace Officer Memorial Day - May 15 (unless it falls on Armed Forces Memorial Day, the third Saturday in May, then it will fly at full-staff).
  • Memorial Day - The last Monday in May (at half-staff until noon and then raised to full-staff).
  • National Day of Service and Remembrance - September 11th (Formerly Patriot Day).
  • National Firefighters Memorial Day - The first Sunday in October.
  • Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day - December 07th.

Flag Locations

The Trophy Club Fire Department will raise, lower, remove, and display flags at the following locations in compliance with Texas and federal laws:

  • Trophy Lake Drive / Shasta Drive
  • 699 Indian Creek Drive (Harmony Park)
  • 500 Parkview Drive (Independence Park East)
  • 501 Parkview Drive (Veterans Memorial)
  • 1 Trophy Wood Drive (Town Hall)
  • 295 Trophy Club Drive (Fire Station)
  • 100 Municipal Drive (MUD Administration)
