Independence Park

Independence Park spans both sides of Parkview, which separates Independence Park West (Indy West) and Independence Park East (Indy East). In total, the park covers 23 acres and is dedicated to youth sports and outdoor recreation activities. Recreational amenities include two tennis courts, NEOS play system, a full-size basketball court, and exercise stations. A printable version of the NEOS User Guide is available online. The tennis courts are lit at night via a timer/photocell, and the lights are operational from approximately 6:00 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. depending on the time of year. Users who require lighting must press the button located at the entrance of the court. The lighting system runs at 120-minute intervals. Additionally, Indy West features a full basketball court available for daytime play (not lit at night). The backboards and rims are tournament-grade, plexiglass rims for optimal play. The exercise stations feature abdominal workout equipment and an arm/back workout station.

A concession stand offers snacks during league play, restrooms are available, and a water fountain will help you stay hydrated while you enjoy the park. All amenities are connected by a pathway system.
