Welcome to the Town of Trophy Club Human Resources Department website. We are here to deliver innovative and timely world-class human resources services to the Town, its departments, employees and our customers to influence the productivity and effectiveness of the employees of the Town. Specific activities that integrate human resources with the overall effectiveness of Town operations include the following: administration of policy, recruiting and selection, employee development and organizational development, employment relations, compensation and benefits and compliance with federal and state laws and regulations and those of the Town.

In addition to its program leadership role, the Human Resources Department has the responsibility of ensuring that the town's human resources business is conducted in a manner that is compliant with state and federal rules and regulations. In this role, Human Resources guides and monitors HR activities and transactions in areas such as recruiting, Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), labor relations, classification and pay to ensure legal compliance.

Drug-Free Workplace

The Town recognizes that drug and alcohol abuse ranks as one of the major health problems in the world and adversely affect an employee’s performance and safety on the job. It is necessary and required by law for the Town to provide a drug-free working environment for its employees and the public.

The Town will not hire any applicant for employment found to be engaging in the use or consumption of drugs or abuse of alcohol unless such drug is prescribed for the user by a licensed physician, and then only if such drug is being used/consumed for the purpose intended. All employment is contingent upon passing a pre-employment drug screen. Any candidate who refuses to submit to a pre-employment drug screen will be removed from consideration of employment with the Town.
