October 25, 2019:
Staff and the engineer met with Quality Excavation to work out details for the completion of the Indian Creek Drive and Phoenix Drive phase of the first portion of the current street rebuild projects. All irrigation and sodding should be completed by October 25, 2019. The approach rebuilds (x2) are scheduled for October 30th and 31st. All parties involved shall be notified on October 25, 2019.
September 13, 2019:
Staff, Town engineers, and the contractors and sub-contractor representatives, along with the M.U.D water team, for the Indian Creek Drive/Phoenix Drive CIP, completed the final walk-thru and noted all deficiencies to be corrected that were forwarded by you and verified, visually, on yesterday’s inspection. Staff does ask, in effort to assist, if there are any issues pending on the irrigation systems, please Tommy Uzzee know. Otherwise, those staff does not hear from will be contacted by the contractor to schedule access in order to operate the system for a compliance check.
September 06, 2019:
The contractor has officially requested for their completion inspection of the project, as of yesterday. Staff, contractors, and engineers will soon be gathered to provide a comprehensive list of repairs required to receive their final approval and begin the 2-year maintenance period. As part of that list, for those of you that have had specific concerns, the items will be provided to the contractor.
May 17, 2019 - 11:00 AM
Indian Creek Drive is currently underway with Phase III demolition of existing and storm drain replacement from East Hillside Place to final drop inlet. Restoration of Phase I and II yards, irrigation and grade, will begin next week, along with sidewalk installation. (forms are being set)
Drive approaches (Phase I and II) and the westbound lane of Phase III are scheduled for the next two weeks.
Traffic patterns have been switched for this phase and utilize Fair Green Drive with two-way travel for east and westbound flow on Indian Creek Drive. (with this change, markers have been placed on Fair Green Drive limiting street parking)
Phase III(a) is scheduled for early June. (Fair Green Drive to completion, approximately 162 feet of build)
May 06, 2019 - 4:00 PM
Beginning tomorrow, May 07, traffic lanes on Indian Creek Drive between the Fair Green Drive access points will be closed. This closure is expected to last approximately 1 month during which time, there will be no street parking on Fair Green Drive. Thank you for your patience during this roadwork.
April 17, 2019 - 1:00 PM
The Indian Creek Project is on schedule and into Phase II.
March 20, 2019 - 11:00 AM

Phase two is scheduled to begin the week of March 18th which will encompass South Greenhill Trail to Hillside Place.
Attached a copy of the latest schedule that is provided by the contractor. SCHEDULE HERE
February 22, 2019 - 4:00 PM
Monday, February 25, 2019, is scheduled for the placement of concrete as identified by Quality Excavation. The steel will be elevated prior to pouring which will block all drive approaches directly involved from access(leaving or returning) during the placement as well as the cure time. (Determined by temperature and concrete standards) For those homes that are directly involved, it will be necessary to relocate private vehicles to another location. We will stay in coordination with QE to be able to update and identify when the pavement will be ready to drive on.
Meanwhile, the intersection of Indian Creek Drive at Trophy Wood will also be under repair. Traffic coming from the north that requires access to Trophy Wood Drive will be required to proceed to Inverness Drive or Pebble Beach Drive and circle back around to Trophy Wood Drive and turn south.(right)
February 05, 2019 - 4:00PM
There was a statement made in the previous update that has left some wondering. We apologize for not explaining further.
In an effort to better have controlled traffic and provide needed safety for all, several officials from the Town, (Fire/Police, etc.) met along with the engineer and contractor to look at options.
It was determined that, instead of having one-way traffic from Skyline Drive to Harmony Park, the contractor can complete each of three sections, (Skyline Drive to Greenhill Trail, and the two final phases to be determined). All work in each section will be completed including water, storm, and curb to curb paving, before moving to the next phase.
Anyone living in the “closed portion” will have continued access to their property until time to set steel and place concrete. Those times for all will be inconvenient but necessary for the construction and curing time for the street.
As you enter your homes through the garage door, please remember to check the front doors of your homes for notices.
February 04, 2019 - 9:15AM
The traffic pattern has been rearranged to try and provide a safety net for drivers, homeowners, and street contractors. Staff will provide you with changes if they are addressed, and the future construction patterns for Phase 2 and 3 when approved.
January 28, 2019 - 8:00 AM
The re-build appears to be picking up steam and moving forward. There is obviously some traffic concerns and Director Uzee has attached the PROPOSED TRAFFIC CHANGES to be made starting today, Monday, January 28th, 2019.
We appreciate your patience with this project and will remind you that Staff is available for questions and issues that we are made aware of.
January 21, 2019 - 8:00 AM
As schedules go, this week (21 – 25) will be more of what was handled this week. Beginning on the 28th, it is scheduled to begin with a storm and sub-drain replacement. Staff is currently working with the contractor, and other parties, to control traffic and clean streets as necessary.
January 18, 2019 - 2:30 PM
The Indian Creek Project is coming along in increments of saw-cutting and panel removal.
January 14, 2019 - 2:30 PM
Project continues with water connections and saw cutting of street panels for removal.
January 07, 2019 - 8:00 AM
The Notice to Proceed was issued to Quality Excavation for the Indian Creek Project. Far-reaching rain events have withheld production. The commencement date is noted as January 2, 2019 with completion scheduled for late August of 2019.
December 21, 2018 - 5:00 PM
Staff met with representatives of Quality Excavation on scheduling updates of the Indian Creek Road Project. Pot-holing saw cutting and installation of the temporary water line is scheduled to begin on January 2, 2019. This activity will extend from Meadowbrook Drive to Green Hill Trail.
Staff provided maintenance and service on the message boards on Indian Creek Drive to assure they function uninterrupted during Christmas holidays.
December 07, 2018 - 5:00 PM
The Indian Creek construction project delays have been noted and scheduling for the utility locations is set for the week of December 17th.
November 30, 2018 - 3:30 PM
There have been un-scheduled delays in the project on the contractor's side of the project. The potholing (locating existing utility services by means of boring vertically) has been rescheduled for the week of December 03, 2018. Once accomplished, preparations for the installation and acceptance of the temporary water service line shall commence, along with saw-cutting and removal of concrete.
Thank all of you that have requested to be on the email list. We will try and keep you up to date with construction happenings via email and the message center signs located on each end of the project.
November 16, 2018 - 1:20 PM
On Tuesday, November 20th and Wednesday, November 21st, traffic control devices will be scheduled for placement along the construction zone. Wednesday, November 20th and Friday, November 23rd begins the installation of erosion protection, the physical location of underground utilities, and saw cutting of pavement.
There will be no work on Thursday, November 22nd.
The week of November 26th will continue with the above, as well as, pavement removal, clearing of trees as designed for waterline replacement, and temporary waterline installation.
November 09, 2018 — 2:45 PM
The Indian Creek Street Project, at last contact with Ken Moore of Quality Excavation, noted that the irrigation piping process of capping and terminating lines in the right of way, of the private yards is nearing completion. The final documentation required to be submitted to our engineers for review, the traffic control plan, has now been approved with stipulations and within two weeks we should be noticing the installation of the temporary water lines being installed.
Thank you for the recent contacts.
Always keep in mind that you can contact this office at any time. Tommy Uzee, Director of Community Development at 682.237.2915 or [email protected]. Thank you for your patience.
October 26, 2018 —5:00 PM
It has been asked, that, for how long will driveways be inaccessible.
Under all normal circumstances of the project, driveways should only be inaccessible for brief amounts of time during saw cutting for removal, placing the temporary waterline, and installation of utilities.
Once the street is re-poured, it takes a matter of days, 3 – 7, due to curing times, before it can be driven on. As those times vary depending on concrete tests obtained during the pour, residents shall be notified in advance of the work which shall be staged not to disturb the daily activities of everyone at the same time.
October 26, 2018 — 12:00 PM
Currently, the contractor and their irrigation sub-contractor, have been operating, videoing, and capping sprinkler systems in preparation for beginning demolition to begin work in the right of way areas. The rain events we have been experiencing have delayed the progress. For those that feel that they were not notified or have been notified but have not been able to meet with the contractors, you may also contact this office in order to assist. [email protected].
October 15, 2018 — 3:00 PM
The following schedule was submitted last week as an update for the work to be done on Indian Creek Drive. Due to the rain events, re-scheduling will occur, but this should allow for a general understanding of the over-all project scheduling. As soon as it is updated we will update this page. (Updating the schedule on a project such as this is not unusual when experiencing weather conditions such as these.)

Staff will also be contacting Republic Services this morning to get details on trash pick up for tomorrow, Friday, May 18, 2018. Stay tuned for an update.
May 16, 2018 - 4:30 p.m.
Trophy Club staff has received the approval of the density reports from the lab technicians on the density testing accomplished earlier today. The current schedule of work will have forms being set early Thursday, May 17, 2018, as well as the steel placement. Staff is aware materials are being moved around the site, and some forming may take place this afternoon, Wednesday, May 16, 2018. In addition, staff will begin inspecting the steel placement mid-morning, Thursday, May 17, 2018, and will continue to do so as sections are completed. Driveways will remain open as they have been, throughout the morning and afternoon activity.
NOTE: All vehicles that are to be used on Friday, May 18 and Saturday, May 19, 2018, will need to be relocated out of the construction area from Thursday night until Saturday afternoon.
The contractor is scheduled to begin the pour on Friday morning, May 18, 2018. It has not been determined by the concrete company how much material shall be delivered and that will determine how far they can go with the pour. Those homeowners that have no forms or fresh concrete at their location may return home on Friday at the completion of the workday. Staff will continue to monitor the situation and appreciate your patience during this time.
