Our Fire Marshal and Certified Fire Inspectors review construction plans for all new construction and remodels to determine compliance with fire code requirements. In addition, personnel review submittals and perform related inspections for all new fire protection, fire detection and fire alarm systems. All commercial buildings must have a final fire inspection prior to being issued a Certificate of Occupancy. Inspections are also performed annually on all commercial properties, churches, schools and apartment buildings.
