Stage 1 Drought Restrictions Lifted, Year-Round Water Management & Conservation Plan Continues

Fort Worth Water notified its wholesale customers that Stage 1 Drought Restrictions were lifted May 18, 2015.  While the twice per week watering schedule outlined in the Drought Contingency and Emergency Water Management Plan remains in effect, the additional restrictions from Stage 1 will be lifted. 

Lifting Stage 1 restrictions does not affect the year-round water management and conservation requirements, which include:

  • Residential addresses ending in even numbers may water on Wednesday and Saturday.

Trophy Club Municipal Utility District No. 1 will host a groundbreaking ceremony for the $14 million wastewater treatment plant upgrades at 2 p.m. May 22 at the Svore Municipal Building Boardroom, located at 100 Municipal Drive.

The upgrades to the plant will convert the plant to a state-of-the-art membrane bioreactor (MBR) treatment system that will ensure higher treatment capabilities to meet current and future environmental requirements. Urgent News from TC MUD 1
On Monday, March 23, 2015, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  major maintenance at the water plant will limit the water supply available to our customers.  A repair is necessary to a valve that controls flow into the distribution system and must be completed as soon as possible.
