We have a great opportunity for families and friends to come together for a volunteer outing that is actually FUN! On Saturday, October 5, 2013 from 8:00 a.m. to noon, the four cities around Lake Grapevine, including Grapevine, Southlake, Flower Mound and Trophy Club will come together for a shoreline clean up of Lake Grapevine. The event is called Trash and Treasures, which is a Keep Texas Beautiful event.

Saturday, October 26 to Sunday, October 27
Setup (check-in) from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. Saturday afternoon at entrance to TCP
Dinner around 5:30 p.m. (time varies)

Trophy Club shares a border with hundreds of acres of natural, undeveloped property that is home to a large wildlife population. Many variables, including weather, climate changes, the season, human behavior, etc can cause the wildlife to move into residential neighborhoods seeking shelter, food and water sources. The Dallas Morning News (DMN) recently published the areas 10 Healthiest Neighborhoods and, although Trophy Club did not make the list, the Town was certainly well represented. The 10 healthiest communities were ranked according to four key factors:

  • Pollution
