Town Council Canvasses November Election, Swears In New Council Member

The Town Council will canvass the November 4, 2014 Election results on Thursday, November 13 at 6:00 p.m in the Svore Boardroom — 100 Municipal Drive. Upon completion of the canvass, Trophy Club Judge Mark Chambers will swear in incoming Council Member Tim Kurtz, Place 4. Please join us in welcoming the newest Council Member and hear incoming remarks from Kurtz, the Mayor and other Council Members.

The Trophy Club Town Council is seeking residents who are willing to spend a few hours a month to serve their community. Appointed Board/Commission Members must agree to serve without compensation but may be reimbursed for actual expenses approved in advance by the Town Council.

Breast cancer awareness t-shirts are now available for pre-order at the Municipal Building (100 Municipal Dr.) or the Fire Station (295 Trophy Club Dr.). The cost to pre-order is $15 per shirt, payable at time of order by cash (preferred) or personal check. Shirts will be available for pick up after September 29, and open stock t-shirts will be for sale for $20 each. Net proceeds go to breast cancer research.
