On September 23, the Trophy Club Town Council unanimously approved a balanced $14,642,151 FY13-14 Budget, which officially took effect on October 1, 2013. Revenues are projected to exceed expenditures by $82,578, a savings that reflects the innovative and cost saving approaches utilized by Town Management. The FY13-14 Budget is based on a property tax rate of $0.4993 per $100 assessed valuation, which is a $0.019243 decrease from the 2012-2013 fiscal year.

The Fall Town-wide Garage Sale is coming up and Trophy Club streets will soon flood with shoppers looking for great bargains! The garage sale is Saturday, October 19 from 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. and will be held rain or shine. Permits are available for $20 at Tom Thumb and Sassy Flamingo through October 18th.

The Fall Community Clean Up event is almost here! On Saturday, September, 28 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the Byron Nelson High School parking lot (west side of school) the Crud Cruiser will be available to all Trophy Club residents (proof of residency required i.e. DL, utility bill, etc.). Large dumpsters, electronic recycling and document shredding are also available.

We have a great opportunity for families and friends to come together for a volunteer outing that is actually FUN! On Saturday, October 5, 2013 from 8:00 a.m. to noon, the four cities around Lake Grapevine, including Grapevine, Southlake, Flower Mound and Trophy Club will come together for a shoreline clean up of Lake Grapevine.
