Northwest ISD and Communities In Schools of North Texas are working together to organize the Second Annual Northwest Back to School Fair on Saturday, August 9, from 9:00 a.m. to noon at Northwest High School, located at 2301 Texan Drive, Justin, TX 76247.
The fundraising event benefits families in need within the communities that Northwest ISD serves, providing students with school supplies and backpacks for the 2014-15 school year. At the event, families and children will also be able to receive access to free services, such as community…

On Monday, May 19 the Trophy Club Town Council canvassed and certified the May 10, 2014 General and Special Election results. Following the election canvassing, the outgoing Council Members, including Mayor Connie White, Bill Rose and Jeannette Tiffany, were recognized for their dedicated service to the community over the years. The incoming Council Members, including Mayor-elect Nick Sanders, Jim Parrow, Garrett Reed and Rhylan Rowe were administered the Oath of Office and presented with Certificates of Election by Judge Mark Chambers.

The Trophy Club municipal offices will be closed on Monday, May 26, 2014 in observance of Memorial Day. Trash and recycling will run as regularly scheduled. The municipal offices will re-open for regular business hours on Tuesday, May 27.

The Community Clean Up event is next weekend and many residents recently cleaned out closets for the biannual Garage Sale. As spring cleaning and outdoor activities commence, please make sure trash and recycling refuse is properly handled in order to keep the Trophy Club community looking clean and beautiful.
Trash collection is scheduled for Tuesdays and Fridays each week, while recycling is picked up on Fridays only.
