Trophy Club Town Manager Mike Slye has resigned effective Saturday, January 24, 2015. Assistant Town Manager Stephen Seidel will assume the leadership position as Acting Town Manager while the Town Council assesses their options regarding filling the Town Manager position on a permanent basis.

"Staff remains focused on working hand in hand with the Town Council to continue providing high quality services and programs to our great community," said Acting Town Manager Stephen Seidel.

Trophy Club celebrated 30 and 40 year-anniversaries at the Founder’s Day Reception, which was held at the Trophy Club Country Club on Saturday, January 17th. Approximately 240 guests enjoyed historical vignettes, food, drinks, visiting with neighbors and a ceremony with several dignitaries. New Crosswalk Enhancements - Rapid Flashing Beacons

On Tuesday, January 13, 2015 the Town Council unanimously approved the purchase and installation of eight (8) rapid flashing beacon systems in order to improve pedestrian safety at crosswalks. Council approved $53,163 for the additional public safety measure, which also includes funding to replace any signs or poles as appropriate. The new crosswalk enhancements will be installed later this year.

Join the Trophy Club Police Department (TCPD) as a member of the 2015 Spring Citizens Police Academy, which starts on:

Thursday, March 12 at 7:00 p.m.

Classes run for 11 weeks and are every Thursday evening from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. in the Public Services Conference Room (100 Municipal Drive). One class will be held on a Wednesday evening, when the academy takes a field trip to the Denton County Sheriff’s Office. There will also a Saturday class held at a local gun range (a new component to the academy!).

A nationwide surge of police support has emerged over the past few weeks due to recent attacks on law enforcement.
