Thanks to the recent rains, our area has gone from Extreme Drought conditions to Moderate Drought conditions, and Lake Grapevine is back to bountiful levels. Creeks are high and the ground is saturated.... and more rain is on the way. On May 4, 2015 the Town of Trophy Club closed on a 5.56 acre property located close to the intersection of State Highway 114 and Trophy Wood Drive. The $1.35M property is intended to be the site of a new joint Police and Town Hall facility, a project that has been discussed for several years. The Town has retained GSBS Architects for the facility design, and the Town Council is currently working on evaluating layouts and architectural options.

The season “to unite the Town of Trophy Club in the spirit of American Patriotism” is dawning near in Trophy Club, Texas. Trophy Club Stars and Stripes was introduced to the town in 2011 and has become an annual tradition of residents working together to line the streets of Trophy Club with American flags. On Tuesday, April 28th, the Town Council, Staff and Guests recognized six, 2014 Trophy Club Citizen of the Year (COY) Nominees, inlcuding three adults and three youths. Beautiful, safe and enjoyable parks are essential to the Trophy Club community culture. The Town Council recently received feedback regarding Freedom Dog Park, and subsequently tasked the Parks & Recreation Board with developing a subcommittee to examine the issues, perform research and develop solutions. To that end, the Dog Park Subcommittee is reviewing processes and procedures at Freedom Dog Park with two primary goals:
- Ensure everyone has a good and safe experience while visiting the park
