Update (August 17, 2015) --- Thank you to everyone who participated in the K9 naming contest! There were 471 votes for the final name and the breakdown is:
Hogan = 137 votes
Indy = 174 votes
TC = 160 votes
The new TCPD K9 will be named Indy! Congratulations to April Reiling and Erin Myers for coming up with the final name. When the dog arrives we will host a badge ceremony and meet-and-greet for the community. More to come!

Rose rosette disease (RRD) has infiltrated North Texas and many Trophy Club rose bushes have been affected. Several medians in Town contain knock out roses that must be removed as a result of the disease. Due to the aggressive nature of RRD, infected rose bushes should be removed and destroyed in order to help eliminate further spreading.

For the fifth year in a row, the Town of Trophy Club has earned the Texas Comptroller Leadership Circle designation for financial transparency. This year marks the second year that Trophy Club has been awarded the highest level for performance: Platinum.

The Arbor Day Foundation has designated Trophy Club a ‘Tree City USA’ recipient by meeting the program's four requirements: a tree board or department, a tree-care ordinance, an annual community forestry budget of at least $2 per capita and an Arbor Day observance and proclamation.
The Tree City USA program is sponsored by the Arbor Day Foundation, in partnership with the U.S. Forest Service and the National Association of State Foresters.

Update (July 3, 2015) — Tucker and Hogan have been adopted by a Trophy Club family who will give them the love they deserve. Thank you to everyone who shared their story and helped find their forever home!
Tucker and Hogan, a pair of senior dogs who recently lost their human parent, need our help finding new homes. The dogs came to the TCPD Animal Shelter on Tuesday, June 23 and have no family able to care for them anymore. Please help us find a home for these Trophy Club dogs.
Both dogs are fixed males with loving demeanors…
