BMV Suspect Arrested, Linked to Vehicle Burglaries in Town

Thomas Wesley Clark, 26 was arrested in Dalworthington Gardens on Thursday, November 14, 2013 by the Dalworthington Gardens Department of Public Safety and the Arlington Police Department. At the time of arrest, Clark was operating a motor vehicle that was stolen from the Vineyards Apartments in Trophy Club on Saturday, November 9, 2013.

Trophy Club Police have linked Clark to a series of vehicle burglaries that began occurring in May 2013. Trophy Club Police have recovered stolen property linking Clark to numerous other burglaries. Even…

The Town Council recognized several Trophy Club Emergency Responders on November 18, 2013 for their heroic efforts to save a resident's life. The following excerpt was read by Fire Chief Danny Thomas, who along with Chief of Police Scott Kniffen, then recognized the first responders with Life Saving Awards.

Over the past few weeks, unknown person or persons burglarized several vehicles in Trophy Club with most burglaries resulting in some type of property loss. The common theme for the burglaries was each vehicle was left unlocked by the owner. The burglaries occurred in the Oak Hill, Wilshire and Durango areas of Trophy Club. Residents are reminded to always remove items from your vehicle that can be removed and to keep your vehicles locked at all times when unattended.

The Trophy Club Emergency Volunteer Association (TCEVA) has waited a long time to unveil the new reflective graphics on the group’s emergency response trailer…and the trailer looks AWESOME!

In the fall of 2012, the police department approached the Byron Nelson High School (BNHS) art department to help develop graphics for the side of the trailer. TCPD Tests New 'DWI Drunk Busters' Equipment at BNHS

On October 28 & 30, the Trophy Club Police Department (TCPD) introduced the 'DWI Drunk Busters' program to Byron Nelson High School (BNHS) students during lunch. Student Council members helped set up the obstacle course for students to drive through using drunk goggles to simulate driving intoxicated. The DWI education equipment was purchased with grant funds, including two pedal carts, a 6' X 12' enclosed trailer and an assortment of traffic cones and markers.

A concerned Trophy Club resident recently came to the police station because she had received a voicemail form a person who claimed to be a Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Agent with a warrant for her arrest and a search warrant for her property. She believed the call to be suspicious because she has not been involved in anything that would warrant a DEA inquiry and it didn’t’ sound plausible that the DEA would tell her that they had a warrant for her as opposed to simply coming to get her and executing the search warrant.
