The Town has improved the availability of meeting video and audio files by utilizing YouTube and SoundCloud social sharing networks. All 2015 Town Council meeting videos have been uploaded to YouTube, and all 2015 Town Council, Board & Commission meeting audio files have been uploaded to SoundCloud. Users now have the opportunity to view a catalogue of Town Council meeting replays, and the flexibility to listen to Town Council & Appointed Board/Commission meeting audio files at leisure.

A new local youth sports association, Trophy Club-Roanoke Track and Field Association (TCRTFA), has been created to provide children with an encouraging and successful track and field experience. Participants will learn correct form, teamwork, and how to maintain healthy habits. Freedom Dog Park users who experience/witness aggressive dogs should call the non-emergency dispatch number and report the issue. Making the Town aware of incidents allows us to track issues and appropriately handle dogs and owners who do not comply with the park guidelines. The recently constructed drainage channel running through the large side of the dog park from Balmoral Drive requires further extension to help alleviate the ponding within the wooded area of the park. The pilot channel continuation will guide water through the park and improve muddy conditions for dog park users. The Town is currently receiving quotes for the drainage channel extension project.
