The Reindeer Romp is a 5K and 1 Mile Run scheduled for the morning of Saturday, December 5th, and we anticipate traffic delays due to the large number of participants. The race partners expect approximately 4,000 runners and have cut off registration for the race due to the high volume of runners impacting Trophy Club roadways. The 5K route is the same as the July 4th 5K (see graphic below). The 1 Mile Run route goes around BNHS and should not impact traffic. The Reindeer Romp benefits Northwest ISD PE Departments.
Please prepare for…

A dog that recently visited Freedom Dog Park has been diagnosed with parvovirus and as a precaution the Town has closed the dog park for cleaning and sanitation. The dog park will receive remediation utilizing a diluted bleach solution to spray all areas where feces was found, as well as dog equipment, dog wash stations, drinking fountains, entry ways, etc. The irrigation will run in the evening and/or morning as necessary, and crews will conduct a final sweep of the dog park. We anticipate reopening the dog park on Saturday, June 13th.
