Pedestrian safety is the primary concern for diverting foot and bicycle traffic to cross Bobcat at Marshall Creek, instead of at Parkview, during the medical office construction project located at Bobcat and Parkview. Please make sure kids know to stay clear of the construction site and understand where they can safely cross Bobcat. The crossing guard stationed at Bobcat and Parkview is directing students to the crosswalk at Bobcat and Marshall Creek. On Saturday, April 26, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. the Trophy Club Police Department will be accepting expired, unwanted, or unused pharmaceutical controlled substances and other medications from Trophy Club residents’ medicine cabinets. The program is anonymous for participants and all medications collected will be destroyed.

Residents can drop off unwanted medicines at the Trophy Club Police Station, located at 100 Municipal Drive.

Crime Watch – The Trophy Club Police Department was notified by a resident about a company calling themselves Total Home Distribution that left a “Sorry We Missed You” door hanger on their front door earlier today while the resident was away. Research by the police department has revealed this is not a legitimate company and they are not attempting to solicit for service, they are scouting homes to be burglarized. UPDATE (February 10, 2014 at 11:00 p.m.) --- Due to icey conditions on roadways and bridges, Trophy Club Municipal Offices will be closed Tuesday, February 11, 2014. Please stay off roadways if possible.

Weather permitting, Allied Waste anticipates that trash collection will run as usual tomorrow.

Interested in learning about the “real” world of Law Enforcement and policing Trophy Club style?  Join the Trophy Club Police Department (TCPD) as a member of the 2014 Spring Citizen’s Police Academy, which starts on:

March 27 at 7:00 p.m.

Classes run for 11 weeks and are every Thursday evening from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., or until the last question is asked - whichever is later. (The last class will be held on Wednesday, June 4th from 6:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. at the Denton County Sheriff's Department.)
