Trophy Club is known for being a great place to call home, and not just for people, but for animals, too! The Town is pet friendly and understands that oftentimes pets ARE family. In addition to household pets, residents also enjoy other wildlife in their backyards — from beautiful birds and reptiles to raccoons and even beavers. Pet laws in Trophy Club exist to protect the animals and ensure that the community remains safe and well maintained.

SHELTER – FIRE STATION
With many homes without power since about 1:50 p.m. today, we have opened the Fire Station to residents who need a cool place to wait/stay until power is restored. There are cots for beds, but please bring sleeping bags, blankets, pillows, etc. For questions or more information, please call 682-831-4630.

Northwest ISD and Communities In Schools of North Texas are working together to organize the Second Annual Northwest Back to School Fair on Saturday, August 9, from 9:00 a.m. to noon at Northwest High School, located at 2301 Texan Drive, Justin, TX 76247.

The fundraising event benefits families in need within the communities that Northwest ISD serves, providing students with school supplies and backpacks for the 2014-15 school year. At the event, families and children will also be able to receive access to free services, such as community…

UPDATE (Thursday, September 11, 2014) --- West Nile Virus (WNV) Reporting Update for:

Dallas County:  As of August 30, 2014 there have been six confirmed human cases of WNV; one in Coppell, one in Farmers Branch and four in Dallas. Ninety-nine mosquito tests have been returned with positive results for the virus, out of a total 89,614 tests in 2014.

Denton County:  As of September 5, 2014 there have been no reported human cases of WNV, and 38 mosquito tests have been returned with positive results…

The North Texas health departments of Collin, Dallas, Denton, and Tarrant counties are again coordinating their planning efforts to make a collective impact on this year’s West Nile virus season.

The 2012 West Nile virus season was unexpected and took a significant toll on the health of citizens of the North Texas region. Ground and aerial spraying were used in areas of the region to reduce the mosquito population potentially carrying the virus. In 2013, North Texas health departments enhanced collaborations to prevent a potential recurrence.…

On Saturday, April 26, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. the Trophy Club Police Department will be accepting expired, unwanted, or unused pharmaceutical controlled substances and other medications from Trophy Club residents’ medicine cabinets. The program is anonymous for participants and all medications collected will be destroyed.

Residents can drop off unwanted medicines at the Trophy Club Police Station, located at 100 Municipal Drive.
