The 2016 National Drug Take Back event is Saturday, April 30 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and the Trophy Club Police Department will accept expired, unwanted, or unused pharmaceutical controlled substances and other medications from Trophy Club residents’ medicine cabinets. Residents can drop off the unwanted medicines at the police station located at 100 Municipal Drive. The program is anonymous for participants and all medications collected will be destroyed.

Last year Trophy Club participated in the ‘blue light movement' and many residents turned their front porch light blue in support of law enforcement. ‘Turn Trophy Club Blue’ lets every First Responder know that they are supported, no matter what uniform they wear.

Keep a blue light (porch light or flameless candle in the window) burning through the night from December 31, 2015 to January 31, 2016 to show your support for Public Safety.

Baylor Regional Medical Center in Grapevine is now in “Active Pursuit” status for Level II Trauma Center designation. Effective immediately, Trophy Club Emergency Medical Services (EMS) will now transport all trauma victims to Baylor Grapevine. The “active pursuit” status for Baylor Grapevine means that trauma care is closer than ever for citizens in need of medical attention. Previously, trauma victims were transported by air or ambulance to John Peter Smith, Methodist Medical or Parkland Hospitals to receive trauma care.

2015 Mosquito Surveillance & Control - WNV Prevention

Update (December 2, 2015) --- Denton County Health Department officials have confirmed two human cases of West Nile Virus (WNV) in Trophy Club. One resident lives on Pebble Beach and the other lives on Sherwood, and both contracted the milder form of the virus (West Nile fever). Officials believe the individuals were likely bit in October and diagnosed in November.

So far in 2015 Denton County has eight (9) confirmed human cases and Trophy Club has two (2) of those cases.
