Beautiful, safe and enjoyable parks are essential to the Trophy Club community culture. The Town Council recently received feedback regarding Freedom Dog Park, and subsequently tasked the Parks & Recreation Board with developing a subcommittee to examine the issues, perform research and develop solutions. To that end, the Dog Park Subcommittee is reviewing processes and procedures at Freedom Dog Park with two primary goals:
- Ensure everyone has a good and safe experience while visiting the park

Update --- The large dog area is now open.
The large dog area at Freedom Dog Park is closed until further notice due to a tree falling, potentially causing unsafe conditions for visitors and their dogs. The Parks Department will begin removing the tree and debris Monday. Thank you for your understanding.

Freedom Dog Park users who experience/witness aggressive dogs should call the non-emergency dispatch number and report the issue. Making the Town aware of incidents allows us to track issues and appropriately handle dogs and owners who do not comply with the park guidelines. We want to ensure the park remains safe for all users.
