The Town of Trophy Club recently launched a survey to gather community input regarding four proposed logo concepts.

The current logo presents many challenges in regards to basic functionality (does not convert well in black & white, contains several elements (cluttered), appears dated, does not look good when used as a small icon, no knowledge of color use, etc.). On Tuesday, October 22, Trophy Club volunteers gathered at the Fire Station for dinner and comradery, as well as to receive recognition, thanks and gratitude from Town and TC MUD 1 staff and elected officials for all the hard work contributed over the past year. The Denton Central Appraisal District is accepting applications from Denton County residents who are interested in serving on the Denton Appraisal Review Board (ARB). Applications are due by Friday, November 15, 2013. To serve on the ARB, residents must currently reside in Denton County and have lived within the county for at least two years. The meeting schedule is fairly rigorous from late May through July, but more information, including the application, is available in the informational packet.

A concerned Trophy Club resident recently came to the police station because she had received a voicemail form a person who claimed to be a Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Agent with a warrant for her arrest and a search warrant for her property. She believed the call to be suspicious because she has not been involved in anything that would warrant a DEA inquiry and it didn’t’ sound plausible that the DEA would tell her that they had a warrant for her as opposed to simply coming to get her and executing the search warrant.
