On Thursday evening, April 24, the Trophy Club email server crashed and data dating back as far as October 2012 was lost. Only persons with an email tied to the Town of Trophy Club (@trophyclub.org or @ci.trophyclub.tx.us) or TC MUD 1 (@tcmud.org) are affected. If you sent an email to any Council Member, Town Staff, TC MUD 1 Director or TC MUD 1 Staff prior to Thursday, April 24, it is highly likely the email never made it to the intended recipient. The Information Services Department is working to recover the missing data, but the server crash…

Portion of Skyline Drive Closed Temporarily Beginning May 5

As part of the Timber Ridge Drainage Improvements project, a portion of Skyline Drive will be closed daily beginning Monday, May 5 between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Monday through Friday). The section of Skyline affected by the closure runs from Indian Creek to Overhill Drive. During the project, drivers will be detoured along Indian Creek and Skyline side streets, as indicated on the map below. Local elections are in full swing and Trophy Club voters will not only be electing candidates for Town Council, TC MUD 1 & NISD, but also considering two ballot propositions:

  • Proposition 1 – The reauthorization of the local sales and use tax in the Town of Trophy Club at the rate of one-fourth of one percent (0.25%) to continue providing revenue for maintenance and repair of municipal streets. The North Texas health departments of Collin, Dallas, Denton, and Tarrant counties are again coordinating their planning efforts to make a collective impact on this year’s West Nile virus season.

The 2012 West Nile virus season was unexpected and took a significant toll on the health of citizens of the North Texas region. Ground and aerial spraying were used in areas of the region to reduce the mosquito population potentially carrying the virus. In 2013, North Texas health departments enhanced collaborations to prevent a potential recurrence.…

Update (May 2, 2014): The Water Conservation Plan and Drought Contingency & Emergency Water Plan for PID residents were both unanimously approved at the April 21, 2014 Town Council Meeting. For citizens of Trophy Club residing outside of the PID, a similar set of plans was approved by the TC MUD No. 1 on April 22, 2014 and can be viewed online here.

Please be aware that with the adoption of these plans, all residents within Trophy Club will be held to a similar requirement as the City of Fort Worth, with outdoor watering…
