UPDATE (Monday, October 13, 2014) --- Due to the rain and high winds, the markings in the roundabout will not be painted today. The project is anticipated to take place around the Thanksgiving holiday, weather permitting. We will post an update when a new date and time is scheduled.

The inside lane of the roundabout will be closed from 9:30 a.m. — 12:00 p.m. (noon) on Monday, October 13 in order for the Streets Services department to repaint traffic markings on the pavement. Traffic will continue to flow in the outside lane…

Municipal Office Closed Monday, September 1 for Labor Day

Trophy Club Administrative Offices will be closed Monday, September 1 in observance of the Labor Day holiday. Police, Fire and EMS services will continue as usual. Municipal offices will reopen at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 2.

The Community Pool will be closed August 25 - 29, then open for Labor Day weekend August 30 - September 1. After September 1, the pool is closed for the 2014 season.

Town Council Amends Solicitation Ordinance, Implements No-Knock List

At the August 12, 2014 meeting, the Town Council voted unanimously to amend various sections of the ‘Peddlers and Solicitors’ ordinance in an effort to better protect residents from the negative impacts associated with soliciting and distribution. The amended ordinance still maintains a business’s First Amendment right to communicate to potential customers, but also allows residents the right to ‘opt out’ if they do not want door-to-door solicitors or handbills dropped at their door.

Update (August 13, 2014) --- Last night the Town Council called the November 4, 2014 Special Election for the purpose of electing one Council Member for the unexpired term for Place 4 on the Town Council. The term for Place 4 will expire in 2015.

Update (July 11, 2014) --- In the next week or two Oncor will begin the transmission line project in Trophy Club, starting with clearing the easement under the existing lines. The tree trimming crew will come through and remove anything within 30 feet from the center of the easement in order for crews to work safely with large equipment. After the trees are cleared/trimmed, Oncor will dig 30-foot-deep holes for the piers, which are reinforced with rebar before pouring the pier.
