The Spring rainy season brought several severe thunderstorms that left Lake Grapevine above flood level all summer. Trophy Club Park has been closed to regular traffic since June due to high water levels in the park, and as water continues to recede debris is left littering the park. The flood debris must be removed/cleaned up before the park is fully operational again, and we need a community-wide effort to help cleanup Trophy Club Park!
Registered volunteers will receive an official “Restore TCP: Debris Crew” hat!…

Trophy Club Administrative Offices will be closed Monday, September 7 in observance of the Labor Day holiday. Police, Fire and EMS services will continue as usual. Municipal offices will reopen at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 8th.
The Community Pool will be open for Labor Day weekend September 5th - September 7th. After September 7th, the pool is closed for the 2015 season.

Denton County Health Department – The Denton County Health Department (DCHD) is reporting its first human case of West Nile Virus (WNV). The Texas Department of State Health Services confirmed the case of WNV in a Lewisville resident today.

The Trophy Club Town Council has amended the Public Safety ordinance to address parking and safety issues on Parkview and Park Lane during school hours. Drivers will now be able to park on the east and west sides Parkview Drive, from Durango to Park Lane, during school hours in order to alleviate parking on Park Lane. Additionally, u-turns are now prohibited along Parkview Drive between Park Lane and the entrance to the Community Pool parking lot during posted school hours.

Unofficial Election Results
Town Council will canvass the election results at the November 13, 2015 Special Call Meeting at 8:30 a.m. in the Svore Municipal Building Boardroom (100 Municipal Dr.).

In addition to the November 3rd Joint Police/Town Hall Facility bond election (Proposition 1), the Town Council also called a Special Election for adding two propositions amending the Town Charter:
- Proposition 2 — Repeal Town Council Term Limits
- Proposition 3 — Repeal August 1 proposed budget submission to Town Council and adopt submission requirements in accordance with state law requirements

Update (October 1, 2015) --- The Town Council adopted the FY15-16 Town Budget on September 22, 2015. The formal budget is currently under development, but the approved budget is available for review. The FY15-16 budget is based on a $0.484/$100 valuation tax rate, which is a $0.006 reduction over last years tax rate.
