Congressman Michael C. Burgess honored Trophy Club resident and U.S Army Veteran Bill Splichal at the November 11, 2014 “Salute Our Veterans” Luncheon. Mr Splichal was one of five individuals receiving the 26th Congressional District Veteran Commendation. He was also the 2014 Trophy Club July 4th Parade of Patriots Grand Marshal and recently celebrated his 90th birthday.

The Watch UR BAC (pronounced “Watch Your Back,”) program teaches students about alcohol misuse, dangers of impaired driving, and friends watching out for friends. On Thursday, November 13, 2014, Arts Council Northeast presents Taste of Northeast, an annual charity event, with proceeds benefiting Arts Council Northeast and its community arts programs. Taste of Northeast will be held at the Hurst Conference Center, 1601 Campus Drive in Hurst, from 5:30-8:30 p.m.  Parking is free.
