The Trophy Club Women’s Club and the Town have partnered to organize a Veterans Day Observance ceremony on November 11th at 4:15 pm at the Military Veterans Memorial in Trophy Club (501 Parkview). Joined by special guest Congressman Michael Burgess, participants will honor Veterans with a flag presentation, color guard, Veterans poem and more. Everyone is invited to attend as we give thanks and remembrance to those who have sacrificed for our freedoms.

A Town Hall meeting for the proposed joint Police/Town Hall facility will be held on October 8 at 6:30 p.m. in the Municipal Building. Town Council will canvass the election results at the November 13, 2015 Special Call Meeting at 8:30 a.m. in the Svore Municipal Building Boardroom (100 Municipal Dr.).
After several months of planning and working through design concepts for a Joint Police/Town Hall facility, the Town Council called the November 3, 2015 Bond Election for $5.4M in funding for the proposed facility. Land for the project has already been purchased in the Trophy Wood…
In addition to the November 3rd Joint Police/Town Hall Facility bond election (Proposition 1), the Town Council also called a Special Election for adding two propositions amending the Town Charter:
- Proposition 2 — Repeal Town Council Term Limits
- Proposition 3 — Repeal August 1 proposed budget submission to Town Council and adopt submission requirements in accordance with state law requirements

Town Council approved Ordinance No. 2015-05 on March 10, 2015, which declared the above unopposed candidates in the May 9, 2015 Joint General Election Elected to Office, and canceled the election.

Judge Mark Chambers swore in incoming Council Member Tim Kurtz at the Town Council meeting on Thursday, November 13. Council Member Kurtz will fill the Place 4 seat vacated by Danny Mayer, which expires in 2015. Welcome Council Member Kurtz!
