Join the Trophy Club Police Department (TCPD) as a member of the 2015 Spring Citizens Police Academy, which starts on:

Thursday, March 12 at 7:00 p.m.

Classes run for 11 weeks and are every Thursday evening from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. in the Public Services Conference Room (100 Municipal Drive). One class will be held on a Wednesday evening, when the academy takes a field trip to the Denton County Sheriff’s Office. There will also a Saturday class held at a local gun range (a new component…

Founder’s Day tickets will be available for purchase through Tuesday, January 13th at noon. Tickets will not be available after this date or at the door, so please make sure to pick up your tickets prior to noon on Tuesday!

Vantage Energy will begin capping and removing six wells in Trophy Club beginning November 19, 2014. Crews plan to remove all surface equipment, all gas lines will be pulled and all pipes will be cemented 10' below the surface. The brick walls will be left in place at each location, and the ground surface within each well site will be seeded in the spring.

Work is expected to be complete by the end of January and will take place Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Each well site requires approximately…

The Town Council will canvass the November 4, 2014 Election results on Thursday, November 13 at 6:00 p.m in the Svore Boardroom — 100 Municipal Drive. Upon completion of the canvass, Trophy Club Judge Mark Chambers will swear in incoming Council Member Tim Kurtz, Place 4. Please join us in welcoming the newest Council Member and hear incoming remarks from Kurtz, the Mayor and other Council Members.

First Enterovirus D68 Case (EV-D68) Reported in Denton County

A pediatric case of EV-D68 was reported to the Denton County Health Department late Thursday afternoon, making it the first case of the illness for the county. The patient was hospitalized, and has been released. For patient confidentiality reasons, no further personal information will be released.

The Denton County Health Department (DCHD) is reporting its first human cases of West Nile Virus (WNV) of the season and the first case of Chikungunya virus (ChikV) in a Denton County resident.  The Texas Department of State Health Services confirmed yesterday two cases of WNV—one resident in the City of Denton, the other in Argyle.
