Trophy Club celebrated 30 and 40 year-anniversaries at the Founder’s Day Reception, which was held at the Trophy Club Country Club on Saturday, January 17th. Approximately 240 guests enjoyed historical vignettes, food, drinks, visiting with neighbors and a ceremony with several dignitaries. Join the Trophy Club Police Department (TCPD) as a member of the 2015 Spring Citizens Police Academy, which starts on:

Thursday, March 12 at 7:00 p.m.

Classes run for 11 weeks and are every Thursday evening from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. in the Public Services Conference Room (100 Municipal Drive). Founder’s Day tickets will be available for purchase through Tuesday, January 13th at noon. Tickets will not be available after this date or at the door, so please make sure to pick up your tickets prior to noon on Tuesday!

Vantage Scheduled to Cap and Remove Wells

Vantage Energy will begin capping and removing six wells in Trophy Club beginning November 19, 2014. Crews plan to remove all surface equipment, all gas lines will be pulled and all pipes will be cemented 10' below the surface. The brick walls will be left in place at each location, and the ground surface within each well site will be seeded in the spring.

Work is expected to be complete by the end of January and will take place Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Each well site requires approximately…

The Town Council will canvass the November 4, 2014 Election results on Thursday, November 13 at 6:00 p.m in the Svore Boardroom — 100 Municipal Drive. Upon completion of the canvass, Trophy Club Judge Mark Chambers will swear in incoming Council Member Tim Kurtz, Place 4. First Enterovirus D68 Case (EV-D68) Reported in Denton County

A pediatric case of EV-D68 was reported to the Denton County Health Department late Thursday afternoon, making it the first case of the illness for the county. The patient was hospitalized, and has been released. For patient confidentiality reasons, no further personal information will be released.
