Denton County Health Department – The Denton County Health Department (DCHD) is reporting its first human case of West Nile Virus (WNV). The Texas Department of State Health Services confirmed the case of WNV in a Lewisville resident today.

Unofficial Election Results
Town Council will canvass the election results at the November 13, 2015 Special Call Meeting at 8:30 a.m. in the Svore Municipal Building Boardroom (100 Municipal Dr.).
After several months of planning and working through design concepts for a Joint Police/Town Hall facility, the Town Council called the November 3, 2015 Bond Election for $5.4M in funding for the proposed facility. Land for the project has already been purchased in the Trophy Wood…

In addition to the November 3rd Joint Police/Town Hall Facility bond election (Proposition 1), the Town Council also called a Special Election for adding two propositions amending the Town Charter:
- Proposition 2 — Repeal Town Council Term Limits
- Proposition 3 — Repeal August 1 proposed budget submission to Town Council and adopt submission requirements in accordance with state law requirements

Update (August 17, 2015) --- Thank you to everyone who participated in the K9 naming contest! There were 471 votes for the final name and the breakdown is:
Hogan = 137 votes
Indy = 174 votes
TC = 160 votes
The new TCPD K9 will be named Indy! Congratulations to April Reiling and Erin Myers for coming up with the final name. When the dog arrives we will host a badge ceremony and meet-and-greet for the community. More to come!

Update (July 3, 2015) — Tucker and Hogan have been adopted by a Trophy Club family who will give them the love they deserve. Thank you to everyone who shared their story and helped find their forever home!
Tucker and Hogan, a pair of senior dogs who recently lost their human parent, need our help finding new homes. The dogs came to the TCPD Animal Shelter on Tuesday, June 23 and have no family able to care for them anymore. Please help us find a home for these Trophy Club dogs.
Both dogs are fixed males with loving demeanors…

A community-wide observance of the 64th Annual National Day of Prayer for the citizens of Roanoke, Trophy Club, and Westlake and surrounding areas will be held on May 7 at 12 noon at the Trophy Club Clock Tower located at the town’s main entrance. The event will be filled with prayer for our nation and its governmental leaders, military, media, businesses, schools, churches and families.
