Interested in learning about the “real” world of Law Enforcement and policing Trophy Club style?  Join the Trophy Club Police Department (TCPD) as a member of the 2014 Spring Citizen’s Police Academy, which starts on:

March 27 at 7:00 p.m.

Classes run for 11 weeks and are every Thursday evening from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., or until the last question is asked - whichever is later. (The last class will be held on Wednesday, June 4th from 6:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. at the Denton County Sheriff's Department.)

On Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at approximately 4:45 p.m., a male in a green Ford Explorer or Escape approached two teenage girls walking home and asked for directions to the golf course. Upon providing directions, one of the girls observed the male with his zipper down and playing with something between his legs. The incident occurred at the corner of Morgan Lane and Highlands Drive.

News from TC MUD 1, who purchases water from the City of Fort Worth --- The Fort Worth Water Department is experiencing changes in the taste and odor of the drinking water coming from the Rolling Hills and Westside water treatment plants. The Water Department assures customers the water is safe for drinking, cooking, bathing and all other purposes, even though it has an earthy smell and taste.

Trophy Club Town Center Property Owner Requests Amendment to PD-30

UPDATE (March 7, 2014) --- The Town Council held a Public Hearing on Monday, March 3, 2014 and discussed the PD-30 development standards amendment request from the Trophy Club Town Center developer. Six residents addressed Council with various questions, concerns and suggestions. The two main issues discussed were the townhomes and the retail-ready component of the proposed amendment. After a lengthy discussion and negotiations, the Town Council voted to approve the PD-30 development standards amendments by a vote of 5-1.
