Indy is home from training in Indiana and we are so excited to welcome him to the community! Bring the kids and come meet Indy on Saturday, November 21st at 10:00 a.m. at Independence Park East (Indy’s namesake). Guests can meet Indy and take pictures, observe the badge ceremony and enjoy a live demonstration by Indy and his handler, Officer Barry Sullivan. All participants will receive a free commemorative gift featuring Indy!

Update (August 17, 2015) --- Thank you to everyone who participated in the K9 naming contest! There were 471 votes for the final name and the breakdown is:

Hogan = 137 votes
Indy = 174 votes
TC = 160 votes

The new TCPD K9 will be named Indy! Congratulations to April Reiling and Erin Myers for coming up with the final name. When the dog arrives we will host a badge ceremony and meet-and-greet for the community. More to come!

Update (July 3, 2015) — Tucker and Hogan have been adopted by a Trophy Club family who will give them the love they deserve. Thank you to everyone who shared their story and helped find their forever home!

Tucker and Hogan, a pair of senior dogs who recently lost their human parent, need our help finding new homes. The dogs came to the TCPD Animal Shelter on Tuesday, June 23 and have no family able to care for them anymore. Please help us find a home for these Trophy Club dogs.

Both dogs are fixed males with loving demeanors…

Freedom Dog Park Closed - Possible Parvovirus Contamination

A dog that recently visited Freedom Dog Park has been diagnosed with parvovirus and as a precaution the Town has closed the dog park for cleaning and sanitation. The dog park will receive remediation utilizing a diluted bleach solution to spray all areas where feces was found, as well as dog equipment, dog wash stations, drinking fountains, entry ways, etc. The irrigation will  run in the evening and/or morning as necessary, and crews will conduct a final sweep of the dog park.
