This holiday season giving back to those in need is easy with convenient drop off locations for Toys for Tots and the Holiday Food Drive benefitting the Roanoke Food Pantry.

Toys For Tots

Drop off unwrapped toys valued at $10 or more from Friday, November 1 to Sunday, December 15, 2013. The toys will be gathered and passed along to the US Marine Corps for distribution.

The TCWC Christmas Tour of Homes has been rescheduled for Sunday, December 15 due to the inclement weather. Please visit www.mytcwc.org for details.

The Trophy Club Women’s Club is proud to announce the annual Christmas tour on homes. This year’s theme is “The Magic of Christmas – 2013”. TCPD Tests New 'DWI Drunk Busters' Equipment at BNHS

On October 28 & 30, the Trophy Club Police Department (TCPD) introduced the 'DWI Drunk Busters' program to Byron Nelson High School (BNHS) students during lunch. Student Council members helped set up the obstacle course for students to drive through using drunk goggles to simulate driving intoxicated. The DWI education equipment was purchased with grant funds, including two pedal carts, a 6' X 12' enclosed trailer and an assortment of traffic cones and markers.

The Town has partnered with the Trophy Club Country Club (TCCC) for the Charity Classic Golf Tournament & Festival on Friday, November 8, 2013. The two-part event includes the Charity Classic Golf Tournament, which begins at noon and is open to the public. The fee for the golf tournament is $125 per person and includes lunch, golf and dinner. The Parks and Recreation Department is introducing new programming for residents and friends age 50+ – the Trophy Club Travelers!  Our first trip will be to Canton, TX for the famous First Monday Trade Days.  The timing of this trip is perfect for you to knock out your holiday shopping!  Please register online or by calling 682-831-4603.  The fee to register is $35, which covers a seat on a chartered bus and snacks during the ride.

On Tuesday, October 22, Trophy Club volunteers gathered at the Fire Station for dinner and comradery, as well as to receive recognition, thanks and gratitude from Town and TC MUD 1 staff and elected officials for all the hard work contributed over the past year.
