On Monday, May 5 the Town Council, along with a packed audience, honored the 2013 Citizen of the Year (COY) nominees and recipients by recognizing the various community service projects and hard work each nominee provided to the community. The Trophy Club COY Committee (made up of past recipients) reviews all nominations and selects an Adult and Youth recipient based on the individuals contributions to the community.

The Arbor Day Foundation has partnered with utility companies across the country to provide free trees to help homeowners save energy and money by strategically planting trees. The trees for energy savings partnership between the Arbor Day Foundation and Oncor Electric Delivery is called Energy-Saving Trees. The trees are available to customers who ultimately get their electricity delivered by Oncor. Many retail electric providers sell electricity delivered from Oncor, so don’t think you are out of their service area just because your bill doesn’t…

On Thursday evening, April 24, the Trophy Club email server crashed and data dating back as far as October 2012 was lost. Only persons with an email tied to the Town of Trophy Club (@trophyclub.org or @ci.trophyclub.tx.us) or TC MUD 1 (@tcmud.org) are affected. If you sent an email to any Council Member, Town Staff, TC MUD 1 Director or TC MUD 1 Staff prior to Thursday, April 24, it is highly likely the email never made it to the intended recipient. The Information Services Department is working to recover the missing data, but the server crash…

Portion of Skyline Drive Closed Temporarily Beginning May 5

As part of the Timber Ridge Drainage Improvements project, a portion of Skyline Drive will be closed daily beginning Monday, May 5 between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Monday through Friday). The section of Skyline affected by the closure runs from Indian Creek to Overhill Drive. During the project, drivers will be detoured along Indian Creek and Skyline side streets, as indicated on the map below.
