Congressman Michael C. Burgess honored Trophy Club resident and U.S Army Veteran Bill Splichal at the November 11, 2014 “Salute Our Veterans” Luncheon. Mr Splichal was one of five individuals receiving the 26th Congressional District Veteran Commendation. He was also the 2014 Trophy Club July 4th Parade of Patriots Grand Marshal and recently celebrated his 90th birthday.

The Watch UR BAC (pronounced “Watch Your Back,”) program teaches students about alcohol misuse, dangers of impaired driving, and friends watching out for friends. The Town Council will canvass the November 4, 2014 Election results on Thursday, November 13 at 6:00 p.m in the Svore Boardroom — 100 Municipal Drive. Upon completion of the canvass, Trophy Club Judge Mark Chambers will swear in incoming Council Member Tim Kurtz, Place 4. Please join us in welcoming the newest Council Member and hear incoming remarks from Kurtz, the Mayor and other Council Members.

The Trophy Club Town Council is seeking residents who are willing to spend a few hours a month to serve their community. Appointed Board/Commission Members must agree to serve without compensation but may be reimbursed for actual expenses approved in advance by the Town Council.
