The Dallas Builder’s Association (DBA) recently awarded The Highlands at Trophy Club with the coveted 2014 Master-planned Community of the Year honor. The award, presented by the Sales and Marketing Council (McSAM), included residential developments from the entire Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex that were narrowed down to a final list of the top 5 communities that were subsequently fully evaluated.

The premier season of the Trophy Club Adult Kickball League was a fantastic success! After three rained-out regular season games, a semifinal game that was cooled down with surprise sprinklers, and the lights going out during the championship game, this summer league proved to be an adventure full of camaraderie and fun.

From the Texas Department of Transportation (July 24, 2014) — Traffic Alert: WESTLAKE – Beginning Wednesday, August 6, 2014 work will begin to close a small section of J.T. Ottinger Road between the SH 170 frontage roads. This will prevent the crossing of SH 170 east and westbound which is a safety concern. This will also prevent westbound traffic in the left lane from slowing down to turn left (southbound) onto J.T. Ottinger Road.

Interested in learning about the “real” world of Law Enforcement and policing Trophy Club style?  Join the Trophy Club Police Department (TCPD) as a member of the 2014 Fall Citizen’s Police Academy, which starts on:

August 21 at 7:00 p.m.

Update (July 23, 2014) --- Freedom Dog Park will reopen to the public on Wednesday, July 30th after almost two weeks of precautionary measures to decontaminate the park. Crews had to wait until the ground dried completely from the rains last Thursday before beginning the process of cleaning and disinfecting. All visible dog feces will be removed and all drinking bowls replaced. The dog park will receive two rounds of remediation utilizing a diluted bleach solution to spray all areas where feces was found,…
