Get your family together and join our community up at the high school for a fun night out while supporting a great cause!  Byron Nelson High School’s PTSA is hosting Taste & Talent on Saturday, April 2, 2016 from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Festivities will include Tastes from local restaurants and chefs, Talent from students as well as community members, an Art Show, Interactive Exhibits, supervised activities for toddlers through primary grade schoolers and a fantastic Silent Auction.  The evening celebrates the best of what our local community…

Update (March 30, 2016) --- Last night the Town Council considered the proposed PD-30 amendments, as well as P&Z recommendations brought forward from the March 24th meeting. After negotiating with the development team on a variety of topics, the Town Council voted 6-1 to approve the PD-30 amendments with P&Z’s recommendations and several conditions, including:

Beginning Wednesday, March 23rd, the large and small sides of Freedom Dog Park will flip for approximately two weeks to allow for turf regrowth and general maintenance. This winter season has been unusually wet and warm, providing attractive breeding conditions for a variety of insects, including mosquitoes.

Benefits of Ballet: Pre-Ballet Classes Now Offered for Children Ages 3-5

Register for Pre-Ballet at tcparks.org if your child has expressed an interest in dance and might enjoy learning new styles of dance. The 45-minute classes are held once a week on Saturdays at 9:00 a.m. from March 26th to April 30th. The cost is $100 per child and classes are held in the Arts Trailer in the parking lot at Independence Park East (501 Parkview).

Pre-ballet is for beginners age 3-5, and students will focus on socialization, teamwork, learning appropriate dance etiquette and how to follow directions. Students also learn…

2016 Community Clean Up Dates: May 7 & October 15

The Bi-annual Community Clean Up events are scheduled for Saturday, May 7 (spring) and Saturday, October 15 (fall), from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the Byron Nelson High School northwest parking lot. All Trophy Club residents (please bring proof of residency) are welcome to drop off unwanted items during the event, which is hosted by Republic Services. The service includes the Crud Cruiser for unwanted household hazardous waste products, large dumpsters, electronic recycling, and document shredding.
